Take college student Sarah, for example, who came to us as a very conflicted young woman. She wanted to finish school, but feared that she could not accomplish her life’s goals while raising a baby. She couldn’t rely on the baby’s father for financial or emotional support, and the thought of facing her mother’s and grandmother’s disapproval was almost too much to bear.
With God’s intercession and a changed heart, Sarah delivered a beautiful baby girl last year, despite the numerous obstacels and difficulties that stood in her way. Sarah returned to school soon after the birth (often bringing the baby to class for lack of childcare), successfully juggling the rigorous demands of both parenthood and college. We’re proud to announce that Sarah has recently graduated with a degree in journalism and is working while raising her beloved little girl whom she refers to as her “whole life.”
